Lauren has been involved with pageantry for the last five years.  In 2004 she won the crown and the New York State title in her very first pageant, and placed 4th runner-up in the Nationally televised pageant.

After taking a few years off to finish her Master’s Degree in Education, Lauren decided to compete again for the tile of Ms. Florida United States.  After winning that title, she competed in the national pageant in Las Vegas and came home with the crown of Ms. United States 2007-2008.

As Ms. United States, Lauren promoted her platform “Promoting Community Service and Activism Among Youth”.  Lauren is also a government and economics teacher, and wanted to tie her platform to what she teaches her students. 

Lauren is also an award winning songwriter whose music was featured in a motion picture soundtrack.  Songwriter Universe has named Lauren among their top five songwriters of the month (January 2005). Lauren was also recognized as a finalist in Song of the Year's monthly contest (December 2004). In addition, Lauren brought in the New Year by performing in front of nearly 14,000 people in White Plains, NY.

With her first EP launched, Lauren has begun to expand her musical roots both writing and recording new songs from a variety of genres including rock, country, and hip-hop.  She has also begun collaborating with other talented artists.
